Pacquiao says he鈥檚 loyal to PDP-Laban
Senator Emmanuel 鈥淢anny鈥 D. Pacquiao听remains with the听ruling听Partido Demokratiko Pilipino 鈥 Lakas ng Bayan听(PDP-Laban) and will be allowed to defend himself from allegations of disloyalty, according to its secretary general.听
Melvin Matibag, secretary general of听one of听PDP-Laban鈥檚听factions, said they would give the boxing champ a chance to听respond to these charges.听
Mr. Pacquiao on Friday denied allegations that he was planning to convert the regional People鈥檚 Champ Movement into a national party.听
He said the movement remains a local party and his allegiance to PDP-Laban, which is headed by President Rodrigo R. Duterte, was unquestionable. 鈥 Alyssa Nicole O. Tan听
