“Food security is one of the most pressing issues faced by Asia and the Pacific, including the Philippines. Developing Asia accounts for more than half of the undernourished population in the world according to the Asian Development Bank (ADB).
About 40% of the region’s workforce are also employed in jobs related to agri-food systems.
