FROM COLLABORATING WITH National Artist BenCab, to personalities like Rajo Laurel and Daphne Ose帽a-Paez, National Bookstore has come up with another collectibles collection including pouches, note cards, tote bags, and a lot more. This time, the store is partnering with Cecile Zamora van Straten, the blogger behind .
Ms. Straten told 大象传媒 that the bookstore is a major sponsor of her blog and she has a good relationship with National Bookstore. She was the one who approached them and said she wanted to come up with a line of her own, she said.
鈥淐ecile is one of the most credible taste-makers and sought-after lifestyle bloggers who associate with brands that she believes in,鈥 said Xandra Ramos-Padilla, National Book Store鈥檚 managing director, in a press release.
The limited edition 鈥淐huvaness Collection鈥 is composed of more than 15 items for traveling and organizing like a shoe bag, a coin purse, a multi-pouch, a baby bag, and a utility kit.
Ms. Straten tapped social media to look for her designer and found illustrator Keeshia Felipe (@keeshuuu) online. Together with graphic designer Yodel Pe, they brought to life the blogger鈥檚 penchant for Tokyo and its kawaii (cute) aesthetics.
Items in the collection range in price from P49 (stickers) to P699 (a carry-all bag). — NFPDG
