AMERICAN DENIM BRAND Wrangler is continuing its search for biking and travel enthusiasts 鈥渙ut to fulfill their passion on the open road鈥 through its Asia-Pacific-wide competition 鈥淭rue Wanderer.鈥
The competition 鈥渃elebrates bold souls鈥 who go off the beaten path and share 鈥渢heir passion and stories,鈥 the brand said in a press release.
Out of the 485 entries last year, graphic designer Marvin Geronimo emerged as 2015鈥檚 True Wanderer after taking his motorbike out to scenic Polillo Island in Quezon province.
In its second year with the support of the Department of Tourism, Wrangler 鈥済oes bigger and better鈥 as 10 foodies, shutterbugs, adventure-seekers, naturists, and back-packers will be selected to go on a five-day, all-expenses-paid ride-out to one of the three key tourist destinations in the Philippines.
鈥淭he 10 bold souls will be exploring undiscovered gems in the country and blog about their journey via Wrangler鈥檚 Web site (),鈥 the press release stated.
This year, Wrangler True Wanderer ambassador Jericho Rosales also calls on fellow bikers to join the competition.
Interested consumers may sign up at Wrangler鈥檚 Web site (). They must select one pre-determined passion and 鈥渆xplain what drives your passion to explore the open road.鈥 Submission of entries is until 11:59 p.m. of April 17, 2016.
A panel of bike experts and travel enthusiasts, including Mr. Rosales, will choose one winner to take home the title of True Wanderer, a Royal Enfield Classic Chrome Black 500 cc motorcycle, and P100,000 worth of Wrangler merchandise.
