Davao Light urges solar rooftop owners to join net metering program

Davao Light and Power Co., Inc. is encouraging its solar rooftop owners to sign up under its net metering program that allows them to sell their excess capacity to the distribution utility.
Net metering is a scheme that allows consumers who own renewable energy facilities to contribute their excess electricity output to the grid.
Thus far, the company has taken on its second net-metering partner — Emcor, Inc., a motorcycle and appliance retailer in Agdao, Davao City. — Victor V. Saulon
