In the High Court’s decision promulgated on Aug. 3 and published on Oct. 14, it said the respondent, Imelda V. Posadas, knewΜύβ€œthat a review of the case meant that a decision of acquittal is being sought and that the accused was willing to pay to secure such a ruling.”ΜύΜύΜύ

Ms. PosadasΜύdefendedΜύthat she acted in good faith as sheΜύβ€œwas merely motivated by a sincere desire to help.”ΜύTheΜύSupreme Court, however, held that Ms. PosadasΜύβ€œhad an indispensable involvement in the dealings.”ΜύΜύΜύ
