Philippines fourth lowest among its peers in global entrepreneurship list
The Philippines retained its ranking of 96th place out of 137 countries in the published by market research agency . With a score out of 100, where 100 means a country is most attractive, the Philippines scored 39.51, below the East Asia and the Pacific average of 60.32. It was also the fourth-lowest country among its peers in East and Southeast Asia. The index evaluates a country on how conducive and attractive it is to start and grow a business. At the same time, it scores each country in 铿乿e key pillars: economic and 铿乶ancial access, human capital, connectedness, governance, and market potential.
