ACTOR/SINGER Daniel Padilla will be holding a digital concert titled Apollo: A Daniel Padilla Digital Experience on Oct. 11 at, ABS-CBN鈥檚 online paid portal for shows and live events. YouTube FanFest Online

YOUTUBE is bringing its much-anticipated FanFest online on Oct. 11, 4:30 p.m., with 150 creators and artists from across the region and special appearances from global YouTube stars. This year鈥檚 virtual YouTube FanFest celebrates the creative ingenuity of the creator and artist community in Asia-Pacfic, that has provided inspiration, entertainment, and moments of joy during this unprecedented time. The Fanfest鈥檚 Philippine segment will feature tributes to YouTube creators Lloyd Cadena and Emman Nimedez who passed away this year. The tribute will be via a short video where Fanfest participants and local creators such as About RAF, Fumiya Sankai, SB19, and Ben & Ben share their message and tell stories about the departed creators. Daang Dokyu

DAANG Dokyu, the Philippine documentary film festival, continues its run until Nov. 5, featuring documentaries spanning the 100 years of filmmaking in the Philippines. This week, the festival will be streaming May Istorya nga Tayo, Patay Naman Tayo (2001) by Howie Severino, Yanan (2013) by Mae Caralde, Sa mga Mata ng Balita: The Birth of Philippine TV, the News and Many Firsts, Unos at Puntos sa Bagong Milenyo (2003) by Ricardo Trofeo, Tupada 鈥92: The Philippines in the Year of the Elections (1995) by Fruto Corre, Maid in Singapore (2004) by Clodualdo del Mundo, Jr., Queer Transnational Love in the Time of Social Media and Globalization (2017) by Adrian Alarilla, and Delano Manongs: Forgotten Heroes of the United Farm Workers Movement (2014) by Marissa Aroy. The festival will also have reruns of the Martial law films shown in September including Marcos: A Malignant Spirit and A Rustling of Leaves. CCP Arthouse Cinema

THE CULTURAL Center of the Philippines (CCP) Arthouse Cinema Online celebrates National Indigenous People鈥檚 Month this October with a special screening of K鈥檔a, The Dreamweaver (2014) by Ida Anita del Mundo, and Tembong (Connecting) (2019) by Shaira Advincula on Oct. 9 to 11. K鈥檔a the Dreamweaver follows the story of a T鈥橞oli woman torn between being a dreamweaver for her tribe and love, while Tembong (Connecting) is a short film about a T鈥橞oli man who collects a series of patterns as an abaca goddess visits him in his dreams. Aside from the films honoring indigenous people, the Arthouse cinema will also be honoring teachers with Jerrold Tarog鈥檚 film Faculty (2010). Tanghalang Pilipino shows films, online concert

THE RESIDENT theater company of the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP), Tanghalang Pilipino (TP) this October is presenting several shows online including three plays which serves as the directorial debuts of three members of its actors company: Kapit-Wifi by JV Ibesate (Oct. 15), Ang Hinihintay Naming鈥 by Silvester Bagadiong (Oct. 16), and PM is the Key by Lhorvie Nuevo (Oct. 17). The company will also be holding another Handa Awit concert, this time featuring JC Santos and Anna Luna performing a medley of songs from the musical Lam-ang.
