Disney Live! Mickey鈥檚 Music Festival

DISNEY LIVE! brings favorite Disney characters to life in Mickey鈥檚 Music Festival, a limited run show at the Kia Theatre.
The touring show features a jam session where more than 25 Disney stars headlined by Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, and Goofy, along with characters from Aladdin, The Little Mermaid, and Disney/Pixar鈥檚 Toy Story, sing and dance to famous Disney hits remixed to hip-hop, pop, swing, reggae, rock, country, and more.
鈥Disney Live! is the first live show experience many children will have so what I want them to walk away with is an experience that they won鈥檛 forget. I want them to have the best time with their parents with their siblings dancing singing and seeing their favorite characters come to life,鈥 said Feld Entertainment Producer Alana Feld.
Director Fred Tallaksen applauds the whole production and creative team especially the versatility of performers. 鈥淥ne of the challenges for the cast is they have to play different parts in the show. They have to be able to tumble, there is rollerblading, there is drumming, there鈥檚 all these things in the show and a lot of the performers do all of them.鈥
鈥淭his has got to sound different from any show we鈥檝e ever done because we鈥檙e really going to this rock festival concert. It鈥檚 a rhythm-driven track with everything being contemporary sounding,鈥 said music director Stan Beard.
The show will be staged at Araneta Center鈥檚 Kia Theatre (formerly New Frontier Theater), an ultra-modern entertainment venue equipped with the latest in audio, visual and lighting technologies.
